Women enjoy a deep need to connect. It is our gift that we can connect to nature, art, and each other.
While I grumble about being a woman once a month (I’ll leave that to you to guess when that is), there is a true advantage to being a woman. . . .
Women enjoy a deep need to connect. It is our gift that we can connect to nature, art, and each other.
While I grumble about being a woman once a month (I’ll leave that to you to guess when that is), there is a true advantage to being a woman. A woman is a collective, she is bigger than herself. Men have been trying to tell us this for centuries but we often forget. In Japan they made us the Sun Goddess. An ocean is associated with the feminine creative and sustaining spirit. The Greek Goddess Nike leads men and women alike to victory. For thousands of years women have been worshiped for our collective qualities – even if they be in the spirit of Marylyn Monroe, Pamela Anderson, Betty Boop, or Aphrodite. When we forget our collective nature we turn our backs on the wisdom of all the women who came before us. When we forget our collective nature, we feel all alone – juggling our roles. We get tired; so tired a double espresso doesn’t even make a dent in our energy level. This our chance to share/connect with other women by sharing our inspirational stories. Group Tags
